The Ventnor City Police Department is scheduled for an on-site assessment as part of the accreditation process through the New Jersey Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission, which is administered by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police. Successful completion of the process will also result in accreditation with the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP)
The accreditation program requires agencies to comply with standards that represent the best practices in Law Enforcement. The accreditation process is rigorous and includes a close examination of the agency’s written directive system, operation, and facility.
As part of this final on-site assessment, employees and members of the general public are invited to provide comments to the assessment team. They may do so by telephone or email. The public may call 609 822-2101 ext. 1969 on Sunday April 23rd, 2017, between the hours of 11 am and 1 pm. Email comments can be sent to email@example.com.
Telephone comments are limited to 5 minutes and must address the agency’s ability to comply with the NJSACOP standards. A copy of the standards is available for inspection at the Ventnor City Police Department at 6201 Atlantic Ave. Ventnor City, NJ 08406. Please contact Captain Douglas Biagi at 609 823-7980.
Anyone wishing to offer written comments about the Ventnor City Police Department ability to comply with the standards for accreditation is requested to email the Accreditation Program manager at firstname.lastname@example.org or write the New Jersey State
Association of Chiefs of Police, Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission at 751 Route 73 North, Suite 12 Marlton, N.J. 08053.
