Ventnor Water Seeking Residents to Participate in Free Lead and Copper Water Test

To comply with regulations, the Ventnor Water System must test for lead and copper in Ventnor homes throughout the summer. In order to provide 30 samples, Ventnor Water is seeking homeowners to participate in the program.

Qualifying homes must have been constructed between 1920 to 1955, or 1982 to 1987. The water sample will be free of charge and test results will be explained and distributed.

The Ventnor Water System last tested for lead and copper in 2014 and met the national standards for lead and copper in drinking water.

If you are interested in participating, please call Public Works and ask for Ernie Gratz at 609-823-7935.
