Ventnor Beach Information 

Ventnor City beaches are officially open for the bathing season the Saturday before Memorial Day through the Saturday following Labor Day. Lifeguards will be on duty from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily during this time period.  Swimming is only permitted in front of lifeguard stands during those hours.

 

Beach Badge Information

To access Ventnor beaches, beach badges must be worn between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

 


Pricing:

Pre-season (Ends May 31)

$7.00 for ages 12+

Senior Citizen Badges (Ends May 31)

$3.50 for ages 65+

Regular Season (Begins June 1)

$15.00 

Weekly (Begins June 1)

How to Purchase:

Ventnor City Hall:  Regular business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).  Cash or Check only. City Hall will also open Weekends in May from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for pre-season beach badge sales.

Beach BBQ Information

BBQs will be permitted on weekends from June 1 through September 30 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, the following dates will allow BBQs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.:

Memorial Day Celebrations: Saturday, May 26, Sunday, May 27, and Monday, May 28

Independence Day: Saturday, June 30, Sunday, July 1, Monday, July 2, Tuesday, July 3, and Wednesday July 4

Labor Day: Saturday, September 1, Sunday, September 2, Monday, September 3

NO open fire pits, only grills! 

 

Hobie Cat Beach 

Somerset Avenue and the Beach. Sailboats can be registered for a fee on a seasonal basis. For further information, please contact the City Clerk at 823-7904.

 

Kayak Beach

Princeton Avenue and the beach. While there are no lifeguards assigned to this beach, it is supervised during the hours of 10 a.m.  to 6 p.m. by the lifeguards at Sacramento Avenues. Please exercise caution while kayaking.

 

Surfing Beach

Located next to the Fishing Pier. Open during daylight hours. There is no lifeguard assigned to this beach, it is supervised during the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.  by the lifeguards at Dorset Avenue. Please exercise caution while surfing.

 

Beach Volleyball Courts

Located next to the Fishing Pier at Cambridge Avenue and in front of the tennis courts at Somerset Avenue.
