As the Fire Chief, I am immensely proud to serve this community.  my staff an I are honored to be given the responsibility of providing a safe an enjoyable environment for those that live, work, and visit our shore community.  We are an innovative and proactive fire department committed to providing citizens and visitors of Ventnor with the highest quality of professional service, 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.  Our career staff of 45 professional firefighters are certified by the State of New Jersey in a wide range of firefighting disciplines and technical rescue skills and our entire department staff is state certified to the Emergency Medical Technicians level.

We welcome your suggestions for improvement and any questions you may have about fire safety or the role of the Fire Department in the community.  In addition to saving lives and property, the Department is actively involved in fire prevention programs, community fire safety education, and continuing skills development and education.
