Welcome to the City of Ventnor. As Commissioner of Public Safety, I am proud of the hard work and professional service our police, fire, and lifeguards provide to our residents and guests day and night and when they are most in need. These departments are on call 24/7.  They, train, plan and drill every day for events as diverse as hurricanes, or as fun as public block parties as well as the more obvious, such as fires, medical emergencies and beach rescues.

We encourage an environment of open communication and respect and look forward with engaging with the public at various events like the National Night Out, the Kenny Whelan Run, and the Jr. Lifeguards Camp just to name a few.

My personal goals for the city is to improve the appearance and energy in the downtown areas. We are seeing new investment and vitality every year. With the introduction and sale of two liquor licenses by our administration, the Ventnor Square Theater, and Santucci's Pizza are major investments in two busy downtown areas. These "anchors" are sure to encourage more growth and development nearby. Similar private investments like a new Dunkin' Donuts and Water Dog Cafe are encouraging as well. We have worked with these developers to incorporate walkable features into their designs like outdoor seating and bike racks. I promise to work hard to keep the momentum and the positive energy and effects going throughout the entire city!

This entire administration has used technology in new ways to bring our residents and guests closer to the process and the decisions we make on your behalf. I have worked closely with the developers and our staff to make this website more attractive and simpler to navigate. Features like a "how can we help" search bar to get you to information quickly and making all the forms we have available online to save time and questions. Our Facebook engagement has grown since we entered office and we believe this is a useful tool for getting two-way communication going. We hope residents, guests and anticipated new friends will learn more about Ventnor and encourage growth and understanding through all of these tools.

Should you like to reach out to me in person, please call, email, write me a letter, or make an appointment to meet face to face. Thanks for your time and please enjoy everything Ventnor has to offer!
