Heavy Rain, Flooding Expected

We are expecting steady rain beginning after midnight, Wednesday, October 28, and continuing through the morning of Friday, October 30.  The rain may be heavy at times and will likely cause roadway flooding particularly during the morning and evening high tide on Thursday and morning high tide on Friday and during heavy downpours.  Tide height is expected to be 1-2 feet above normal. 

Residents are urged to move vehicles from low areas that typically flood and reminded to not drive through standing water.  We also asked that residents secure trash and recycling carts and other items that can blow into the street and block storm drains.
