NJ 2-1-1 Offering Free Rides to Get Vaccinated

Don’t let transportation challenges stop you (or your family and friends) from getting vaccinated.

NJ 2-1-1, in cooperation with United Way and Lyft, is now providing free or discounted rides to vaccination sites wherever Lyft services are available. This program is for everyone, including people who have collapsible wheelchairs and walkers. Personal aides welcome to ride along!

• Free ride available to and from confirmed vaccine appointments
• Free ride to second confirmed vaccine appointment
• Available statewide, wherever Lyft operates
• Two options: Codes or Concierge Service

Codes can be given to individuals so they can arrange rides themselves

NJ 211 specialist can arrange the rides

• Individuals with foldable wheelchairs or walkers can be accommodated
• No eligibility requirements other than a confirmed vaccine appointment and vaccine site
