Save the Dates for 2023 Events in Ventnor

Ventnor City plunges into its 2023 line-up of FREE events. The City of Ventnor is an inspiring, artistic town with a beautiful beach landscape. We’ve curated a variety of events featuring local businesses, musicians, crafters, and food. These FREE activities provide residents and families from surrounding communities with outdoor fun all year long!

Ventnor’s New Year’s Day Polar Plunge: Sunday, January 1, 2023. Brought to you by the Ventnor Business Association (VBA), start the new year off with friends, family, and neighbors. This year’s event begins at 12 Noon at Santucci’s, then onto Newport & the beach for the plunge at 1:00pm.

The Ventnor City Shred Event: Saturday, April 22, 2023. Need help with your spring cleaning? Ventnor residents can bring any paper items that need to be shredded. Pull up to the shred truck and your items will be unloaded for you, there is no need for you to exit your vehicle. The event is held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Newport Avenue and the Beach.

The Ventnor City Block Party: Saturday, May 6, 2023. This annual event is held the 1st Saturday of May and features crafters, food trucks, a beer garden, live music, and games! Join us from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Ventnor Ave between Troy and Portland Avenues.

The Ventnor City Farmers’ Market: Fridays from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon, at the corner of Newport and Atlantic Avenue. Our market offers Jersey fresh produce, specialty food items, and hand crafts.

Ventnor City Summer Beach Jam: Saturday’s, May 22 to Sept 2, 2023. Listen to live music on the beach! The Summer Beach Jam is held on Newport Avenue behind the Ventnor Library and Cultural Art Center. The venue is on the beach and features a playground! Live music begins at 6 p.m., with food and crafters ready to serve you at 5 p.m.

Ventnor City Sunset at Ski Beach: Wednesday’s, June 28 to August 30, 2023. Want to watch the sunset and listen to live music by the bay? Join us at Ski Beach in Ventnor Heights at Dorset & Burk Avenues. Live music begins at 6 p.m. with food and crafters ready to serve you at 5 p.m.

Le Tour de Downbeach: Sunday, June 4, 2023, 9 a.m. In conjunction with the Ventnor Business Association & Margate Business Association, Le Tour starts behind the Ventnor Library at Newport & the boardwalk, join us for a family bike ride for your opportunity to enjoy the beauty of our seaside communities.

Independence Celebration: Monday, July 3, 2023. Join us at 5 p.m. with crafters and food vendors. Registration for the Ventnor Mile is 6pm. The race & concert begins at 7 p.m. Nothing is better than your own personal performance of a fireworks display at 9:30pm to cap off a wonderful night!

National Night Out: Tuesday, August 1, 2023, 5pm to 7pm. A wonderful and fun night out with your community, mingling with the Police, Fire, OEM, Beach Patrol, & Administration from Ventnor City. Join us in Ventnor Heights at the Ball Fields on Surrey & Balfour Avenues. Live music begins at 6 p.m.

Seafood Fest: September 16 & 17, 2023. Keep the summer going and come out to ski beach for a terrific weekend of seafood, craft beers, fun, & live entertainment.

Halloween Fest: Saturday, October 28, 2023. Fall fun with crafters, vendors, food, & possibly some Tricks & Treats…. 10am to 4pm at Newport beach behind the library. Halloween parade begins at 12 noon at Suffolk & Boardwalk.

Twilight Holiday Parade: Saturday, December 2, 2023, 5 p.m. on Ventnor Avenue from New Haven to Nashville Avenues. A fun night out to celebrate the holiday season with your family and friends!
