This is a traffic advisory from the Ventnor City Police Department.
This Saturday, December 2, beginning at 5:00 pm, The City of Ventnor will be having their annual holiday parade. The parade again this year will be on Ventnor Avenue, starting at New Haven Avenue and ending at Nashville Avenue.
We are advising you to utilize Atlantic Avenue between Oakland and Troy Avenues to avoid delays between 4pm and 7pm. We encourage all those entering or leaving Ventnor to utilize Albany Avenue in Atlantic City then onto Atlantic Avenue.
Those residing in those areas near the immediate parade route may be prohibited from entering or exiting side streets between Nashville and Troy Avenues during the parade. Those attempting to visit businesses along the parade route will be required to travel on foot while the parade is in motion.
Parking in the municipal lot or for mass at St. James Church on South Newport Avenue, traffic will be directed towards Atlantic Avenue starting at 4pm.
No parking restrictions will also be in effect along Ventnor Avenue from Troy to Nashville Avenue.
